A Travellerspoint blog

Tis the night before we leave

overcast -9 °C

Laundry, packing, packing, unpacking and repacking and thinking of any last things we might need. We have borrowed our friends MEC travel bags for this trip and they are so easy to pack and have lots of pockets. - MEC

These are some of the websites and information that I have found helpful doing research on Ecuador.
- Lonely Planet
- Of course Trip Advisor
- Ecuador Explorer
- Virtual Tourist
- My Triposo app, which I have found very helpful.

Our travel buddies Vaughn and Tammy have provided us with the 27 page document of tips, tricks and information that they have compiled, so we should be good to go.

It's always bitter sweet travelling at Christmas time. Away from your family, friends and loved ones, but we don't miss the snow and cold weather of Calgary. Not that this winter has really been anything to complain about so far. We wish all those staying behind a very Merry Christmas and we will see you in 2013. In the meantime I hope you enjoy reading the blog.

Its going to be an early morning and a long travel day.
